What is a 'dry-hire' mobile bar service?

With our dry-hire model, Jolt of Elixir LLC provides all aspects of the bar service (bartenders, setup, equipment, mixers, garnishes, ice). However, the client is responsible for purchasing and providing all alcoholic beverages. This includes ensuring they purchase any specific alcoholic spirits, wines, or liqueurs required for the custom cocktails chosen from our curated menu. This model allows you to control your alcohol budget and selection, while we handle the seamless delivery of your bespoke bar experience.

What are your package options?

Can I customize my cocktail menu?

Absolutely! Customization is at the heart of Jolt of Elixir. All our packages include custom cocktail menu design, with higher tiers offering an expanded selection or unlimited bespoke creations.

Do you offer non-alcoholic options?

Yes! All our packages include complimentary bottled water and a selection of premium non-alcoholic options. We also offer a "Non-Alcoholic Mocktail Versions" add-on for bespoke mocktail creations.

How do I book Jolt of Elixir LLC for my event?

What information do you need to provide a quote?

We'll need your event date, location, estimated guest count, type of event, and any initial ideas you have for your bar service.

What is included in your pricing?

Our package prices are inclusive of the selected service duration (4 hours standard), professional Jolt of Elixir staff, bar setup and equipment, custom menu design, mixers, garnishes, ice, and General & Liquor Liability Insurance. Add-ons are available for further customization.

What is the service charge?

A 20% service charge is added to all invoices. This covers gratuity for our dedicated Jolt of Elixir team, ensuring fair compensation for their exceptional service.

When is payment due?

A 50% non-refundable deposit is due upon contract signing to secure your event date, with the remaining 50% balance due 14 days prior to your event.

What about venue requirements and permits?

Clients are responsible for ensuring their chosen venue allows outside mobile bar services and for obtaining any necessary permits required by the venue or local jurisdiction for serving alcohol.

Is Jolt of Elixir LLC insured?

Yes, Jolt of Elixir LLC carries comprehensive General Liability Insurance and Liquor Liability Insurance to protect our clients and our operations. Proof of insurance (Certificate of Insurance - COI) can be provided upon request, and venues can be added as Additional Insureds.

Do your staff have training in responsible alcohol service?

Absolutely. All Jolt of Elixir Alchemists and Event Experience Experts are T.I.P.S. certified in responsible alcohol service and adhere to strict protocols regarding serving minors or visibly intoxicated individuals. We do not permit employees to consume alcohol during their shifts.

Do you offer any special discounts or appreciation programs?

Yes! As a thank you for their service, and as a veteran-founded business myself, Jolt of Elixir LLC is pleased to offer a complimentary Specialty Ice Service upgrade for veterans, active military personnel, federal employees, retired federal employees, firefighters, police officers, and other first responders. Please mention your service when inquiring, and valid ID or status will be verified upon booking confirmation.
